Raiding Etiquette Empty
PostSubject: Raiding Etiquette   Raiding Etiquette EmptySun Jan 24, 2010 1:59 pm

Etiquette - In our endeavors to start doing more as far as instancing, raiding, PvP, etc, we will be utilizing each Guild {Genesis & Praxis} to help the other. I.e. If a member of the Praxis Guild wishes to go to a Raid that the Genesis Guild has planned and there is a slot, that person is to be allowed to fill that slot should his/her class and/or level meet the requirement for that slot BEFORE any others are to be considered. Others includes members of Alliance Guilds {if there are any} and/or PuGs. In turn, RESPECT is key. All members are expected to Respect ALL ranks within the Guilds/Groups, NO exceptions. If the person in your group is an Officer from an Alliance Guild, they are to be treated as an Officer from you own Guild. If the person in your Group is from the RolePlay within the Guild, they are NOT to be harassed, ridiculed, made fun of or given a hard time. Though Party is mostly to be Out Of Character, disrespect and off color behavior will be noted and the offending Guild member will be reprimanded in private by the witnessing Guild Officer or Leader. If an Alliance Guild Member is disrespectful to anyone from this Guild, the offense is to be brought to an Officer straight away with the offending member's name. The Officer will then bring the offense to the Leaders and they, in turn, will go to the Alliance Guild Leadership and inform them of the behavior. If it is not resolved by the Alliance Guild's Leader, that person will not be invited back.

Outside Raids
- Any and all Raid offers extended to members of either Guild are to be shared with an attending Officer. The person is to inform the Officer of the Run offer and make sure it is not a Raid that will be run by the Guild{s} in the near future. If the Guild{s} plan to run that Instance/Raid within the near future, the Guild member has the opportunity to run that Raid with the PuG that offered the run at the cost of losing their place in the upcoming Guild Raid or they can decline. It is to their discretion. If they choose to run the PuG Raid and do not get loot {i.e. gear, weapons, etc.} from the PuG Raid, that is not the fault of the Guild and their place in the upcoming Guild Raid will not be relinquished. It is unfair to allow one person to run a Raid multiple times {with or without Guild Members} when there are others that may want to go on the upcoming Raid and have not been. If you go along to the Raid with the Guild, you are almost guaranteed something as loot, weapons, gear, etc is divided and rolled upon evenly and fairly. Not so with many PuGs. It is also expected that if a Guild Member is offered a PuG Raid and there are empty slots in that PuG to be filled, that the member will inform other members of the Guild who may wish to go along to that run. The same guidelines apply to ALL Guild Members. If you accompany a PuG to a Raid that is going to be run in the near future by the Guild, you forfeit your place on the Guild Raid to the next Guild Member who may wish to go along on that Raid. Whether you come away from the PuG with loot or not, your place will not be relinquished until the NEXT Raid Call is made. NO Exceptions!! This rule is NON-NEGOTIABLE and whining about it will only earn you a demotion. So save yourself and the Leadership the hassle. Learn this Rule and understand it. Those found to be going upon Raids without informing the Officers and exploiting the Guild and PuGs for loot, gear, money, etc, will be REMOVED from the Guild immediately. Also know that it doesn't matter if you did not complete the Raid with the PuG, as soon as you cross the threshold of the Raid/Instance with the PuG, you are counted as having gone. Halfway, Midway, Most of the way, doesn't matter. As soon as you enter the Raid/Instance, your place in the Guild Raid is forfeit.
